The 10th edition of North East India International Model United Nations (NEIMUN) will be held in Kohima from November 3 to 5, 2023. Organized by NEIMUN Foundation, the conference will offer a platform that closely emulates the actual United Nations proceedings through its adherence to the UN4MUN procedures.
Addressing crucial regional challenges such as drug abuse, the proliferation of small arms, poverty, and climate-induced conflicts, the event is deeply rooted in the principles of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 concerning Youth, Peace, and Security.
A confluence of over 200 young minds, aged 18-25, from the North East states were anticipated to be a part of this transformative journey, who will be equipped with insights on the UNSCR 2250, fostering a deeper understanding of Youth, Peace, and Security themes.
Enriching its agenda further with the ‘Speaker Series’, featuring influential figures, insightful panel discussions, workshops, and a global village, all are aimed at amplifying networking opportunities and showcasing the North East’s cultural mosaic.
Educational institutions across the North East have been encouraged to champion their students to join the burgeoning NEIMUN network of emerging leaders.
Registrations will be opened online at www.neimun.org. For any assistance or inquiries, the secretariat members will be available, or email at email@example.com.
