13 contestants to vie for Miss Nagaland 2022

Thirteen contestants from across Nagaland will be taking part in the 33rd edition of Miss Nagaland 2022 pageant, organized by Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN), in association with Nagaland Tourism and Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA).
Addressing mediapersons here at Symphony Café, BASN president Melekhoto Pucho informed that the event will be held on December 9, as part of Hornbill Festival, at the Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima.
Except Wokha and Chümoukedima, he said the 13 contestants will be representing Dimapur, Kohima, Peren, Nuiland, Zunheboto, Tseminyu, Mokokchung and Phek districts.
Pucho said the winner will take away cash prize of Rs 1 lakh along with gift hampers, 1st and 2nd runner-up will get Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 50,000 respectively along with gift hampers. The winners will be given the opportunity to be ambassadors of various departments.
There will also be six sub titles like Miss Talent, Miss Perfect Ten, Queen of Hearts, Miss Photogenic, Miss Multimedia and Miss Beautiful Smile and the winners will get Rs. 10000 each along with gift hampers.
Judges for the event include– Miss North East 2022 Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya and 1st runner-up Eshanee Hatimuria from Assam.
The contestants will arrive Kohima by December 1 and undergo grooming and various activities.
The event partners for Miss Nagaland 2022 will include; Beauty Barn, Symphony, Drift Basket, Chiizho Home Designs, De Oriental Fitness, Kekhro Smile Foundation, The Khriezos, Knock and Wrap, Zenki-Organic, Alem Ozukum and Hornbill Tandoor.
