2-day multi-specialityhealth camp in Mokokchung

Eden Medical Centre (EMC) in collaboration with Lenjem Hospital organised a two-day free multi-speciality health camp, here, at Lenjem Hospital, from June 10-11.
During the health camp, around 400 patients availed the facilities including—oncology, urology, ophthalmology and ENT with free medicine from three drug companies.
The camp was conducted along with four doctors, audiometry technicians, eye technicians and other healthcare workers.
Speaking to Nagaland Post, Lenjem Hospital administrator, Dr. Imsu Jamir said that there were future plans to conduct such health camps annually, not only in collaboration with Eden Medical Centre but with other hospitals as well.
He said that by doing so, people who are unable to seek health treatment outside where they live, could be benefitted.
Further, Dr. Imsu expressed gratitude to Eden Medical Centre and all the doctors, technicians and others who made the camp a success.
