The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has made the cadre allotment to 179 IAS officers of 2022 batch including two from Nagaland.
According to a release of the Department of Personnel and Training on Thursday, out of 179 IAS officers of 2022 batch, Yimkum I Ozukum has been allotted Odisha cadre and Vevotolu Kezo has been allotted Maharashtra.
As per the UPSC cadre allocation list, the allocation of the home cadre and outside cadre is based on the number of vacancies and the rank of candidates in their categories.
It may be mentioned that four from Nagaland had recently cleared the UPSC 2022 exam. Among them, the successful candidates from Nagaland include– Er. Yimkum I Ozukum (All India Rank 203) and Vevotolu Kezo (AIR 387) who were allocated the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Imkongnukla Ao (AIR 723) Indian Police Service (IPS) and W Aotula Ozukum (AIR 874) was allocated the Indian Defence Accounts Service Group ‘A’ service.
