15 former Congress leaders rejoin party

Fifteen former Congress members led by ex-MLA Asu Keyho have rejoined the Congress party in appreciation of appointment of KV Pusa as the adhoc president of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) by AICC president Sonia Gandhi.
Keyho in a press release also said the fifteen members expressed full confidence and hope in the leadership of Chingwang Konyak, the new Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader, to lead the people of State towards equitable distribution of development, and decided to re-join the Congress with immediate effect in order to strengthen the leadership of the party.
The fifteen members include former MLA Asu Keyho, former DYC Kohima District president Vizovotuo Nagi; former District Mahila Congress Kohima president Mrs. Medochuno; former District Mahila Congress Kohima general secretary Mrs. Senlano; former DCC Kohima secretary Vibilie Seyie; former NSUI Kohima District vice-president Thekrupa A Segotsu; former DCC Kohima District executive members Zakiengutuo, Kedolekho and Meyapie; former ACCC 8th Western Angami vice-president Keneiselie; former ACCC 8th Western Angami general secretary Visalhou, former ACCC 8th Western Angarni general secretary Pfukolie; former AYC 8th Western Angami president Rovi Kuotsu and former NSUI 8th Western Angami president Thegolhouvi Siria.
“We do appeal to all like minded people to come forward and join hand in the endeavor to strengthen the party leadership so that the dreams and expectations of the people of the State can be delivered at the earliest possible time through our ‘Collective endeavor,’” the release added.
