LBCD children crusade culminates

Three day ‘Children Crusade’ organized by the Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur (LBCD) under the theme “Let them come to me” culminated here, Wednesday.
The crusade was held in order to impart Christian education among the children, attended by more than thousands of children from in and around Dimapur including Senjum village, Rilan village, Forest colony, PWD, Kyong Colony, Notun Basti and Duncan Basti. In the morning session, the resource person Mrs. Renchano Murry extracting a scripture passages from the book of Proverb 1:7 and Ephesians 6:1 said that if one obeys and follows according to the word of God than he will be blessed with all the wisdom, knowledge and prosperous life.
The second session was chaired by Mrs.Thungchano Kyong, scripture read by Rabenthung Yanthan while a special prayer was delivered by Yanbemo Ovung followed by prayer for the congregation and benediction by Rev. Zanao Mozhui.
Highlights of the crusade included presentation of songs, choreography, skits, jokes and an exhibition of crafts and paintings by the young children of different colony.
The aim of LBCD in organizing the crusade and programme was to encourage the children in knowing more about the value of Christian principles and about the bible, so that they stand firm in their faith and uphold their Christian values they have learnt.
