Ban on export of foodgrains lifted

Nagaland Government has lifted the ban on export of foodgrains out of Nagaland, earlier imposed through an order dated June 27, 2008, under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and Section 12 of Nagaland Foodgrains Dealers Licensing Order, 1966. Additional chief secretary, Food & Civil Supplies, Lalthara in an order said the ban was lifted to ensure smooth transportation of essential commodities from Dimapur to various parts of the State.
