PULF leader shifted to Tihar jail

Top leader of the militant group, People’s United Liberation Front (PULF), MI Khan lodging in the Manipur Central Jail has been shifted to Tihar Jail, Delhi today by a special chopper today, official said.
Md Islaodin alias Ibrahim Qazi alias MI Khan (45) of Keirao Mayai Leikai, general secretary of the PULF acting as commander-in chief of the outfit who has been detained under NSA was shifted to Tihaar Jail by a three member team of the state police led by a jemandar from the Manipur Central Jail, Shajiwa, Imphal this morning, the source confirmed.
He was arrested by a team of Manipur police led by SP, Imphal east in a joint operation with its counterpart in Karnataka along with five other hardcore activists of the outfit from a hotel at Mysore on April 27 this year and brought to Imphal the next day.
Other arrested PULF leaders include deputy commander in chief and finance secretary Md Naseer Khan alias Thadoi alias Keshorjit alias Boy (38) of Hiyangthang Tarahei, organising secretary and publicity secretary Md Abdul Jabbar alias Belal Khan (55) of Lilong Haoreibi, external affairs secretary and chief of army Md Nurjaman alias Deny (40) of Keirao Tera Makhong and pvt Md Nur Safi (33) of Yairipok Changamdabi and pvt Md Mustapha (22) of Keirao Makha Leikai.
They are still lodging in the Manipur Central Jail, Shajiwa following government orders regarding their detention under the National Security Act, NSA.
