6th C. Yanghori memorial cricket tourney

The 6th late C. Yanghori Stm memorial cricket tournament concluded here at parade ground Monday, with H. Muzung Yim, deputy chairman TTC as chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that the sports was the biggest industry in the world and exhorted the players to compete in the national and international level keeping the sporting spirit alive. He also lauded the organizers of the tournament for providing platform to the youngsters to exhibit their talents and hoped for more such activities in future. He also donated Rs. 5000 towards the organizers. In the tourney, Native Bulls emerged as the winner while the runners-up was bagged by Oswin XI. The first semifinal man of the match was claimed by Tia Ao of Native Bulls while in the second semifinal the man of the match was bagged by Alfred of Oswin XI. The man of the final match was bagged by Sanen of Native Bulls while the man of the series and the best discipline team were adjudged to Pankaj of Oswin Xi and Classic XI, 3rd NAP sector respectively.
