EPL war: Arshavin vs Keane

Andrei Arshavin has finally gotten himself out of Zenit St Petersburg with a move to English giants Arsenal.
The Russian playmaker who has a whole armoury of football skills to show for will be tasked with the job of putting Arsene Wenger’s tactic of quick passing and movement into play on the pitch.
The Russian stunned the millions of viewers who tuned in to Euro 2008 by carrying Team Russia all the way through to the semi-finals before losing out to eventual winners Spain.
Robbie Keane made a shocking return to White Hart Lane on the final day of the January transfer window after spending a short six-month stint with his boyhood club Liverpool.
Rafa Benitez refused to give the Irish forward enough playing time but Keane was always too good to be left rotting on the bench and thus, decided to go back to his old haunting ground where he revered as a star player.
Harry Redknapp’s stuttering side have found it hard to play with the same enthusiasm and free-flowing football that almost got them a spot in the Champions League a few seasons back, and Keane’s return will herald the start of what will be a successful era under Redknapp’s tenure.
Keane should never have left the Lilywhites and the fans know just how good a player he is.
We picked Keane over Arshavin because of the Russian’s long and winding road en route to getting a transfer deal done.
As wonderful a player as he is, you have to wonder if Arshavin’s passion has taken a plunge like the stock markets have recently.
Keane to fire Spurs into a top ten finish by the end of the season.
