Eden hospital conduct 1st ever free medical camp at Kenjong

Eden Medical Centre, Dimapur held the first ever free medical camp at Kenjong village of Tuensang district bordering Myanmar. According to Dr. Lima Imchen over 20 medical staff took almost three days to reach the village. During the medical camp, he said the team attended to 536 patients during which 20 minor surgeries were carried out and 17 dental procedures. They also undertook total vaccinations for tetanus, BCG and measles for 90 people. Describing it as a huge success for being able to reach out to the unreached, Dr. Lima said lamented that people living in this area do not have adequate medical facilities. He said such medical would be carried out even in the future.
