NSUB organizes freshers orientation program

 Naga Students’ Union Bangalore (NSUB) held its orientation program on July 28 at United Theological College. 

According to a press release from the union, the program was organized mainly to orient new members of NSUB.
NSUB president, Nuthipru Nienu delivered the keynote address by acknowledging all the dignitaries and well-wishers for their support. He also said that the orientation will be a huge step forward, especially for those who are new to Bangalore.
The program was graced by four speakers and former DGP of Karnataka, ex-MP and current vice president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, Dr. H.T. Sangliana as the guest speaker.
Meiyatoshi, an entrepreneur and one of the four speakers, encouraged the people to learn to work hard, value and believe in self. He also said that when working in the corporate sector it is very important to be punctual, be a team player, always respect others’ opinion and be a person of integrity and honesty.
Rachel Sema, who works as a counsellor in an NGO, talked on depression. She said that sometimes migration to a metropolitan city could cause depression during the struggle to adjust to the new environment.
Atoka V. Zhimomi, a service delivery lead, and who himself has been living in Bangalore for more than 15 years, emphasize on how it was very important to be connected with one’s own community when living far away from home. 
He also encouraged the crowd to have the right and positive attitude especially at work.
Earlier, the program started with an invocation by Khontele Seb. The program ended with a prayer by Zeliangrong Students’ Union Bangalore Keyiteigwangbe Ndang.
