KCCI condemns vandalism of ANTA head office Kohima

The Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) has condemned the recent act of vandalism at the All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA HQs Kohima) that inflicted trauma and threat upon the life of its general secretary at gunpoint on June 17.
In a condemnation note, KCCI president, Kezhazer Angami and secretary information & publicity Kevichuzo Zumvu said that considering the damage caused and the nature of committing the whole act, the KCCI expressed in the strongest term that this type of crime should be thoroughly investigated and all out efforts should be made to book the perpetrators.
KCCI said that it was incomprehensible that such act was being committed in a thriving society. While stating that KCCI has also been receiving complaints and grievances on the rise of physical abuse and harassment meted out upon its trading community, the chamber has cautioned that it will not tolerate such act in future and assured of actions that is deemed fit which will be taken against any miscreants.
KCCI further appealed to every right thinking citizen to condemn such abhorring crime and in the meantime urged the concerned authority and the law enforcing agency to book the culprits at the earliest.
