NSCN (I-M) reacts to WC’s statement

NSCN (I-M) has accused WC, NNPGs of cowardly running away from the national path, not wanting to be dictated and guided by the national principle of “one people, one nation” that had carried the Naga political movement for more than 70 years, terming it idiotic and not patriotic in the true sense of the term.
Reacting to the recent statement by WC, NNPGs, NSCN (I-M) said what was most damningly ridiculous about the former’s statement was the censorious tone that sounded nothing more than hypocritical protest against it.
Another thing noted was the dissenting voices and frustration showing their helplessness to continue the Naga political struggle as they were no longer in control of themselves, but somebody tightly holding the rein. Simply put, NSCN (I-M) mentioned that WC, NNPGs had shown their true colours as hapless creatures.
NSCN (I-M) said if the load of national struggle was too heavy to carry on, the door was wide open for NNPGs to make an exit and leave the struggle to bona fide Naga national workers. “But to go the way of wolves in sheep’s clothing is an anathema and nothing else. What is repulsive and deceitful is also morally repugnant to national taste,” it said.
Pointing out that the world at large was at pain as the communal conflict in Manipur had taken the turn of State government-sponsored pogrom, NSCN (I-M) clarified that it was never its pleasure, nor of the Nagas in general to be attracted by the troubled waters despite the unpleasant historical records.
It emphasised why indulge in wild allegations to score elusive points, adding the world was not as dull as the NNPGs wanted it to be. The group said history will judge the NNPGs for their infidelity and act of shameless perfidy.
