Nagaland registered protest against SC verdict: Neiphiu Rio

Chief minister Neiphiu Rio claimed that the state government had already registered protest against the Supreme Court ruling dismissing criminal proceedings against Indian Army personnel for their involved in the Oting massacre.


Interacting with the media post the inauguration of a the new Dimapur Municipal Council office at the Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre, Forest Colony, here on Friday, Rio said the apex court would be taking up the matter.


Asked by the reporters on the opposition of many civil society organisations to having two Inner Line Permit (ILP) cut-off dates, he replied that the state government would hold discussions with them on the matter.
