Model Christian College (MCC) conducted a Students’ Development Programme on October 19 at the college auditorium, under the theme of “Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Health.” The session was led by Dr. Bilva Yalie, Medical Officer at UPHC Seikhazou and State Master Trainer for Adolescent Health.
The programme was divided into several sessions, each focusing on a specific aspect of health, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
In the first session, Dr. Bilva emphasized the importance of physical health, advising students to maintain a healthy lifestyle through balanced nutrition and regular physical activity.
She discussed the key factors influencing nutrition, manifestations of malnutrition, and identified five major risk factors for non-communicable diseases. The programme provided students with valuable insights into maintaining a balanced approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
