A two-day Refresher training for Malaria Technical Supervisor (MTS) organised by National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP) was held at the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare on March 18 to 19, 2025.

Eight families were rendered homeless after a fire broke out at Ghora Pathi, Dimapur on Saturday. According to fire officials, it was learned that the fire broke out at around 9 am, where eight thatched houses were burned down.

In commemoration of the 70th Republic Day of the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), members of Kezekevi Thehou Ba (KTB), a Kohima-based think tank comprising senior members, visited Parashen, the historic site where the first Naga National Flag was hoisted and the FGN was declared on March 22, 1956. The delegation was led by Naga Club president Kuolachalie Seyie.

Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) hosted its annual Tuisem A. Shishak Lecture (TSAL 2025) on March 22, 2025. The event also featured the presentation of the “Annual Alumni Excellence Award”, which was presented by Dr. T. A. Shishak, principal Emeritus of PCC, alongside Neikhalo Sono, president of the Alumni Association Patkai Christian College.

Nagaland Community Conserved Areas’ Forum (NCCAF) observed International Day of Forests on March 21, 2025 at Council Hall, Meluri Village, under the theme “Unbroken Forests, Unbroken Future.”
