3rd Champions Trophy day-2 match update

Silver Machete Cricket Club (SMCC), Brezza IX and Rabbit BCC have registered their win in their respective matches on the second day of the ongoing 3rd Champions’ Trophy T-20 cricket tournament organised by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship Sports Ministry Chumoukedima village at Chumoukedima Town local ground.
In the first match played between Silver Machete Cricket Club (SMCC) and NIT Nagaland, SMCC won the match by 261 runs. Machete CC won the toss and taking on the bat, set a mammoth target of 306 runs where NIT Nagaland were all bowled out for just 44 runs.
In the second match, Brezza IX CC faced Optimus CC where Brezza IX CC set a target of 275 runs. Chasing the target, Optimus CC managed to score 193, losing the match by 82 runs.
In the third match of the day, the defending champion Flying Rabbit BCC faced Royal CC where Royal CC after batting first set they set a target of 171 runs. Flying Rabbit managed to chase the target in just 14.2 overs winning by 3 wickets.
Altogether, 32 teams are participating in the championship.
