The third round of training for polling personnel for the general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023 under Noklak district was held on February 24 at GHSS, Noklak.
According to DIPR report, during the training, general observer for Noklak district, Ajoy Sharma, advised the polling personnel to be confident and well-equipped on EVM/VVPAT for the conduct of polling. Observer stated that the secrecy of voting is very important and urged them to maintain the secrecy of voting on poll day. He wished all the polling personnel for the successful conduct of the poll.
DC & DEO Noklak, K. Mhathung Tsanglao spoke on the setting up of polling compartments and other procedures on the day of the poll. The DC informed that facilitation centres for EVM/VVPAT have been set up at DC office, Noklak, where he requested all polling personnel to utilize the facilities. The polling personnel were imparted with theory and hands-on training on EVM and VVPAT by the trainers.
District level master trainers were PGTs GHSS Noklak, T. Wanle Konyak, Arenkaba, DFO Noklak Khriezhato Nakhro and assistant programmer, Election Office Noklak, Sentimeren Jamir. Meanwhile, the casting of the postal ballot was also conducted for the polling personnel at GHSS, Noklak February 24.
