Three students and one teacher from Nagaland on Friday participated in the “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023” at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi, wherein Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, interacted with more than 1200 students.
Conceptualized by prime minister, Pariksha Pe Charcha is interactive programme, wherein students, parents, teachers from across the nation and also from overseas interact with him to discuss anxieties related to examinations and life after school.
In a press release, school education department informed that Visali Z Sangtam (Class 11) from Livingstone Foundation International School, Dimapur; Hansuja Medhi (Class 10) from Delhi Pubic School, Dimapur and Mompy Boruah, teacher from Army Public School, Rangapahar, were selected to participate in the programme on the basis of their performance in the online competition conducted by Education Ministry.
Another student, Nyemjun Konyak (Class 10) from Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Diphupar, who secured second position at National Kala Utsav Competition, also attended the programme. Commissioner & secretary, Kevileno Angami; principal director, Thavaseelan K; NBSE chairman Aseno Sekhose; SCERT additional director Keviraleu Kerhuo and senior education officers joined students and teachers of Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire GHSS, Seikhazou, Kohima in viewing the live telecast.
Department informed that all the schools functioning in Nagaland were also directed to make necessary arrangements for students from Class 6 and above to view the deliberations.
Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dimapur also watched the live webcast of “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023”, which was held on the theme, “Leave all your exam stress and nervousness behind!”.
