A total of 47, 444 students will be appearing the HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2022 to be conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) in March 2022.
In a press release, NBSE chairman Asano Sekhose informed that HSSLC examination 2022 will commence from March 8-31, 2022 and HSLC examination 2022 from March 9-22, 2022.
30327 candidates will be appearing the HSLC Examination 2022 from 135 provisional examination centres and four sub-centres. 1391 candidates will also be appearing the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2022 from 35 examination centres.
In HSSLC Examination, a total of 17117 candidates (Arts – 13811, Commerce – 1157 and Science – 2149) will be appearing from 88 provisional examination centres. Out of 17117 candidates, 7860 are boys and 9257 are girls.
Class XI Promotion Examination 2021 will also start from April 1-23, 2022.
The board informed that due to COVID-19 pandemic, more additional examination centres have been created in the districts and sub-divisions in order to maintain social distancing in the examination centres.
On February 23, 2022, the board at an online meeting with all the centre superintendents where their duties and responsible were discussed in detail. They were also briefed about the preventive measures/SOPs to be followed during the conduct of the examination to contain the spread of COVID-19.
NBSE will deliver the materials to the examination centres to disinfect the rooms, washrooms, halls etc.
Candidates are required to bring their Original admit cards to the examination hall/room on all the days of the examination.
