Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) literature and education children ministry organised a calligraphy programme on August 2 at Town Hall, Mokokchung.
In a press release, ABAM informed that in a keynote addresss, coordinator, Sunday school ABAM, Chubatemjen said the programme was not about competing but celebrating God-given talents and that it was a time of honouring God by utilising one’s talents, acknowledging Him as the source for everything, and keeping him as leader in everything a person does.
Coordinator, children ministry, ABAM, Abenla Aier while briefing objective of the programme said that the calligraphy programme was designed to help children develop creativity, improvise talents, and create a platform for participation so that as they grew, they would find themselves useful for many purposes. Altogether 74 children, nine years and above from 32 churches participated in the programme.
Earlier, Ungma Baptist Church Children’s Ministry led the praise and worship, Impur Baptist Church Children’s Ministry presented choreography, and Mokokchung Town Baptist Church Children’s Ministry arranged logistics.
