A 45-day skill training programme on “jewellery making” organised for nine Self Help Groups (SHGs) in three different areas by Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) under Livelihood Enterprise and Development Programme (LEDP) concluded in a valedictory programme on March 13.
A press release by ACID informed that District Development Manager (DDM) National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Bendang Aier encouraged the trainees to make best use of the training to improve their financial condition. He also advised them to deliver quality products and look for agencies that could market their products including online marketing.
Lead District Manager, Naveen Basumatary encouraged the trainees to keep honing their skills and not to remain complacent but to work hard and earn livelihood. He also suggested online marketing.
ACID director, Sr. Pramila spoke on the importance of continuing the learnt skill and to enhance their economic stability. The programme was moderated by Vanbeni Yanthan, Savitri invoked God’s blessings and the vote of thanks was delivered by Nithi Kalkho.
