DIMAPUR: Advisor to chief minister, Abu Metha on Saturday held meetings with office of US Consul General Kolkata and Consul General of Germany, Manfred Auster.
According to a DIPR report, the meeting discussed building friendships, strengthening bilateral ties, working collaboratively and creating opportunities.
The advisor acknowledged them for their visits to Nagaland and their participation at the Hornbill festival. Metha highlighted initiatives of the state government in the fields of tourism, arts, culture, music and sports.
State chief minister’s recent announcements at the budget session were also shared with the foreign diplomats.
Metha expressed hope for future collaborations in new policies including Hornbill on tour, sports collaborations and cultural exchanges.
The US consulate and German consul general appreciated the programmes of the Hornbill Festival and expressed desire to enhance collaborations and partnerships in the future with Nagaland and the region.
The advisor was accompanied by TaFMA advisor, Theja Meru.
