Advisor Zale Neikha inauguratesViswema Badminton Stadium

Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, Er. Zale Neikha inaugurated the newly constructed Viswema Badminton Stadium at Phu in Viswema village, Kohima on Tuesday. The stadium, an iconic project, was constructed under Local Area Development Programme 2020-21.
Addressing the mammoth gathering, advisor Neikha highlighted the various developments and achievements of the State government under the leadership of chief minister Niphiu Rio.
While calling upon the villagers to have better coordination and understanding for all round development, Neikha said prevalence of peace and unity is must for smooth development to happen.
He also said that NDPP and BJP will contest the forthcoming State general election 2023 on a 40-20 seat sharing basis. He expressed confidence that chief minister Neiphiu Rio led government would continue to rein the state after the elections and therefore asked the electorates to continue to support him for further development.
Also informing that Kezoma Town is being recognised as “Kezoma Urban Station”, he informed that chief minister Rio will inaugurate it on October 28.
Earlier, Er. Neikha also unveiled the plaque of the new stadium.
Chaired by chairman of Zheri Panchayat Meyiel Naleo, the programme commenced with a dedicatory prayer by pastor Viswema Baptist Church, Saphrül Pucho, while Khruseho Pucho delivered the welcome address and GB of Zheri Panchayat, Mevüsetso Kennao proposed the vote of thanks.
Zheri Lutho Krotho and Sekedu Dzunu enthralled the gathering with a special song and Tati Pfhe respectively.
Later, advisor Neikha also participated in the exhibition match.
