Online registration for joining Indian Army as “Agniveer” has been extended to March 20, 2023, and interested candidates can register by using their Aadhar card or class 10th certificates.
In a press release, PRO Defence informed that registration charges for the recruitment has been fixed Rs 500, however, during the registration a candidate will be required to pay only Rs 250 using UPI, credit card, debit card or internet banking. Indian Army will pay balance Rs 250 on behalf of each candidate. Candidates must have an activated debit card, for online transactions.
During the first stage of recruitment, PRO said all registered candidates will need to undergo an online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) at chosen examination centre. There will be two examination centres in Nagaland and three examination centres in Manipur.
PRO informed that Indian Army has granted substantial bonus marks for sportsmen, NCC certificate holders and ITI qualified candidates in the selection.
PRO further informed that two important videos on “How to Apply” and “How to Appear in Online CEE” will be available on Join Indian Army website, https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, for guidance.
