ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) – Don Bosco, SBI Gram Seva programme Dimapur, observed “World Radio Day” with the five adopted villages – Khriezephe, Diezephe, Tsithrongse, Urra and Bade on February 13.
A press release by ANMA Integrated Development Association, informed that AIDA-SBI Gram Seva with the five adopted villages conducted a folk song/dance competition where the first position was jointly bagged by Tsithrongse and Bade Village, second by Khriezephe Village and third by Diezephe Village.
AIDA-SBI Gram Seva congratulated all the winners for keeping the culture alive and coming together with the theme “Radio and Peace”.
It may be mentioned that radio was proclaimed in 2011 by the Member States of UNESCO and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 as an International Day, and February 13 has been observed as “World Radio Day”.
