ANPWDFWA units support parent body’s demand

All Nagaland PWD Field Worker’s Association (ANPWDFWA) PWD (R&B) Housing and National Highway Dimapur, Noklak and Mon units have extended support to its parent body call for indefinite agitation if pending salaries of work-charged employees under B, C and D categories were not released within January 31, 2022. A press release from ANPWDFWA Dimapur unit president Aso Chang and secretary L Bendangchuba stated that the physical verification which was completed almost five months and said that report had not declared till date.
Furthermore, it has cautioned that if the government failed to comply then it shall be solely responsible for any untoward incident. It also called upon all the units to come together and be ready for the agitation.
In a press statement, PWDFWANU president Lamsong and general secretary Lamsong while extending to the parent body said the unit was ready to go for the proposed strike agitation. In a separate press statement, PWDFWA Mon unit president N Wakho Konyak and secretary Mosa Konyak said the unit was ready to launch indefinite agitation if pending salaries was not released.
