APEN flays harassment of member

Association of Power Engineers Nagaland (APEN) has strongly condemned the alleged harassment meted out to one of its members Er. Thanyalo Kath, SDO (electrical) Mon, by some miscreants “claiming to be from NSCN(U) group” at Mon town on March 23, 2023.
In a press release, APEN president Er. Kasho Chishi general secretary Er. N. Myingthungo Ngulue described as “totally uncalled for” the “unwarranted intimidation with death threats” on a government officer delivering an essential service to the public. APEN also stated “such inhuman and outrageous act” on its member was “unacceptable” when its members were performing their duties round the clock to serve the people of the State.
APEN has appealed to the law enforcing agencies to take all necessary steps to bring the culprits to book and take appropriate action as per law.
