APO appeals SAPO to reconsider ban on entry of Maos

Angami Public Organization (APO) has appealed to Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) to reconsider its decision of prohibiting Mao citizens from entering or travelling through SAPO jurisdiction.
This was contained in a statement by APO president Razouvotuo Chatsu who acknowledged that SAPO had resolved to impose such a measure due to the Kezoltsa/Dzükou dispute. The APO president maintained that the Board of Arbitrators entrusted by Tenyimi Public Organisation (TPO) was entrusted to adjudicate on dispute and for which a verdict was pronounced on December 19.
Chatsu said after considering the interests of all involved, the concerted efforts being made to amicably resolve the dispute and in order to pave way for all to celebrate the holy festive season peacefully.
APO appealed therefore SAPO to lift the restriction on the Mao community as a mark of good faith for the shared ancestral and fraternal bond, and in the true spirit of Christianity.
