Assam Rifles conduct activities for villagers and students

Assam Rifles conducted various activities across the state under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North).
Tuensang Battalion of Assam Rifles distributed two solar lights to Ranpha village, Mon District. Villagers appreciated the efforts by Assam Rifles and thanked for the humanitarian gesture.
Mokokchung Battalion provided vehicle for transportation of candidates from Selenghat Assam till Dimapur who will be appearing Sainik school entrance exam scheduled to be held on January 8.
Initially Battalion carried out their online registration and conducted two months long coaching classes to prepare for entrance examination.
A total of 11 candidates will be appearing for the exams who hail from remote village of Assam. In addition battalion have carried out food and lodging arrangements for these candidates during their stay in Dimapur.
The noble gesture of Assam Rifles has been commended by the public and has assisted in strengthening the bond of bonhomie and trust amongst the force and villagers.
