Shamator battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised an awareness lecture on cancer and free Blood Group Test at Shamator village on February 4, 2023.
The battalion also organized an awareness lecture on cancer, keeping in view of the World Cancer Day with an aim of educating youths about various types of Cancer.
Meanwhile, Jalukie battalion of Assam Rifles organised a mega awareness lecture on cancer across Peren district on February 4, 2023.
The participants were made aware about likely causes, symptoms and precautions to avoid the lethal disease. A total of 59 villagers attended the lecture, stress was also laid on testing and treatment of the disease.
