Assam Rifles of Miao battalion 25 sector under the aegis of Inspector General (North) Zunheboto organized a security meeting with GBs of Zunheboto town at Unit location in Zunheboto on March 20.
A DIPR report stated that the main agenda of the meeting was to analyze the security situation before and after the general assembly elections 2023. 18 GBs from 13 different villages attended and at the meeting, GBs mentioned that they were peacemakers of any village and will always stand with Assam Rifles to counter any illegal activities, unethical practices, and extortion. They thanked the Assam Rifles for organizing the programme which was a necessity for building a bridge between the army and the public. Assam Rifles also thanked the GBs for their participation and assured that it will always stand with the public and appealed for their cooperation in the coming days too.
