ATMA Tseminyu district, Chunlikha block conducted a training programme on application methods of tricoderma on summer vegetable crops on April 12 at Chunlikha village.
During the programme, resource person ATM Kebegi Kent taught farmers about trichoderma, how it helped in controlling various fungal diseases and promoted crop growth.
She instructed on various application methods and dosages of the bio-control agent.
The resource person informed the participants that trichoderma not only fought diseases but also enhanced plant growth and could be used as dry or wet formulation.
Its other uses were in seed treatment, nursery treatment, seedling root dip and foliar application, etc., she further informed.
