Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Tuensang, Noksen Block conducted training, demonstration and capacity building program on November 2 at Yimrup Village.
A press release by ATMA Tuensang stated that during the training programme, resource persons, Block Technology Manager (BTM) Suponglemla Chang trained participates on “production technology of winter crops”, and a hand on demonstration “nursery bed preparation for winter vegetables” and “intercropping of winter maize (HQPM-5) and field pea (Rachna)” was conducted by Assistant Technology Manager (ATM), Wetosanglachang.
Meanwhile, Agriculture Technology Management Agency also capacity building programme was conducted for farmer interest group wherein importance of group approach as a key ingredient towards sustainable farming to achieved self-sufficiency was emphasized to the farmers. Farmer Interest Group (FIG) and progressive farmers were benefited from the programme.
