Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) organised a week-long awareness on cervical cancer from January 23-28.
A press release by CIHSR informed that the hospital started off the awareness programme by holding “free awareness teaching on cervical cancer” in the gynaecology OPD.
During the weeklong programme, free pap smear test was also conducted and a seminar was held with the women leaders of various churches in and around CIHSR.
A CME was conducted which was well attended by doctors and nurses of various hospitals in Dimapur.
