An awareness programme on prevention of child marriages was organised by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mangkolemba office in collaboration with Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Mangkolemba on May 18 at Customary Court Mangkolemba.
According to DIPR report, at the programme, short speeches were delivered by ADC Mangkolemba Dharam Raj, SDPO Mangkolemba R. Philip Yanthan, CDPO Mangkolemba Aonukshi and ASHA coordinator Talirenla.
Representatives from different schools and wards and ASHA workers attended the brief function. The programme was chaired by LDA-cum-C/A, Imtiwapang and the vote of thanks was delivered by EAC Alongkima, Bodi Kapfo.
