The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Eastern Christian College (ECC) Dimapur organised an awareness programme on “drug abuse and illicit trafficking” on Saturday.
In a press release, ECC media cell informed that during the programme, the resource person, senior program officer, I-Tech India, Temjen spoke on how drugs and alcohol negatively impacted society and students in particular.
He also made the students aware about the “golden tips” in order to prevent themselves from drug addiction.
Later, Meren, who is a counselor, also shared his testimony. Earlier, at the programme, welcome address was delivered by ECC vice principal, Eneingulo-U Lasuh and vote of thanks was proposed by assistant professor, department of Commerce and RRC member of ECC, Sholola.
