BJP 13 Pughoboto A/C held an executive meeting on August 3 at Pughoboto town with minister for Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer, who is also the BJP Nagaland state president as special guest.
In a press release, ex-BJP candidate 13 Pughoboto, Dr. Sukhato A Sema informed that Along exhorted party karyakartas to stand firm in every adversary and focus on the growth and development of BJP party in the central and state. He also appreciated 13 Pughoboto mandal for rapid progress made towards the growth of BJP and lauded the efforts of karyakartas during the pandemic.
Along highlighted the achievements, programmes and policies of prime minister Narendra Modi led BJP government at the centre and welfare activities which the BJP have been undertaking.
While dismissing on BJP being referred to as communal party, Along advised the people not to succumb to “such false propagandas.” He also welcomed leaders who have joined BJP recently from other political parties in support of Dr. Sukhato A Sema. Short speeches were also delivered by state chief spokespersons BJP, Kuputo Shohe and Dr. Sukhato A Sema (ex-candidate, BJP).
The minister was accompanied by BJP state executive members. An interactive session was held with mandal office bearers, mandal executive advisors, morchas office bearers wherein, vice president BJP Nagaland, Subenthung Kithan highlighted BJP government welfare schemes and also exhorted the party workers.
