CHANDRASHEKHAR EMPHASISES ON MODI’S VISION FOR INDIA
Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Electronics & Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Monday said that BJP’s ideology was to build a stronger, new and a better India for all Indians.
Addressing a huge crowd at a programme organised as part of ‘Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana’ at Public Ground here on Monday, he said the opposition might say that BJP was anti somebody or pro somebody or that it had a political ideology that was coloured. But, the political ideology of BJP was development, progress and opportunity for every Indian, he added.
Citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of ‘Saab Ka Saath, Saab Ka Vikas, Saab ka Vishwas’, Chandrasekhar said it meant equal opportunity, progress and prosperity regardless of sex, caste or religion ad location for every Indian.
He remarked that one of the things that made him very happy while travelling around Nagaland was meeting beneficiaries of schemes like PM Awas Yojana, JJM, PM Kisan, Ayushman Bharat, etc.
On the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, he said India was successful because the country has a leader in the form of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who united all Indians and decided to fight the pandemic together.
Chandrasekhar said India was world’s fastest growing economy as per World Bank. He claimed that India had won awe and respect of all countries in the world and that people were beginning to say that the future economic recovery of the world would be led by India.
In his short speech, advisor Information Technology, Science & Technology, and New & Renewable Energy adviser and BJP national spokesperson Mmhonlumo Kikon informed Chandrasekhar that Longsa was a village that elected a BJP MLA at a time when people were averse to vote for the party due to misconceptions and propaganda spread by people with vested interests.
Welcome address was delivered by BJP State executive member Renponthung Ezung, who is also the intending candidate from 38 Wokha A/C. Longsa Baptist Church associate pastor Yitsabemo Ezung invoked God’s blessing and 38th Wokha Mandal BJP president Pithungo Michael Ezung proposed vote of thanks at the programme chaired by Wokha District BJP president Yanthungo Kikon. State BJP officials as well as Wokha district and mandals, public leaders and hundreds of villagers attended the programme.
Zunheboto: Earlier, Rajeev Chandrasekhar during his visit to Zunheboto met Zunheboto district administration officials and asked them to develop a district skill development plan that mapped local aspirations and created opportunities for jobs and entrepreneurships.
“Our emphasis should be making optimum use of local resources and reduce migration to urban centres,” he said.
He also reviewed the implementation of Central government schemes and urged the functionaries to work zealously until the last mile was covered.
Chandrasekhar, accompanied by advisor Tourism H. Khehovi Yepthomi and ex-BJP candidate Dr. Sukhato A. Sema and other party leaders, held a meeting with BJP karyakartas, and shared with them the vision of the Prime Minister for a New India based on Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas.
He later visited the Sumi Baptist Church in Zunheboto, considered the largest Baptist church in Asia, and offered his prayers.
It may be mentioned that, Chandrasekhar, who reached the hilly town after a nine-hour journey by road from Dimapur, is the first union minister to visit the district after a span of four decades.
