BSI releases Monsang Naga Holy Bible

Bible Society of India (BSI) on March 19 released the Monsang Naga Bible at Liwa Sarei Baptist Church, Chandel, Manipur.
The Holy Bible was released by BSI, Dimapur Auxiliary Secretary, Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah on behalf of the BSI in the presence of leaders and members of the Churches of the Monsang Naga Baptist Churches Association (MNBCA).
Rev. Dr. Yiepetso encouraged the congregation to read the Bible and be blessed as they now have the word of God in their language. He was accompanied by Joyson Thangal, Assistant Marketing Officer BSI, who brought greetings.
Rev. Alani Shongsir, Executive Secretary, expressed appreciation to Bible Society of India for helping them get their Bible. He also thanked Rev. Th. Rockson and Checking Committee members for their sincere and hardwork in bringing out the Holy Bible in Monsang language. He further extended gratitude to Churches for their support and cooperation extended to MNBCA.
Rev. Th. Rockson, the translator thanked God and Rev.Zambolis Saekmei, advisor for his help in the translation works. It took more than 10 years to complete translation of both Old Testament and New Testament.
