BZ Entertainment to raise HIV awareness in Nagaland

BZ Entertainment, a dynamic Drama and Film Society, is set to embark on an unprecedented journey to elevate HIV awareness in Nagaland through an expansive 60-show Street Play tour. Collaborating with the Nagaland State Aids Control Society (NSACS), the initiative aims to enlighten communities across the state on HIV transmission, prevention, testing, and the imperative need to combat stigma and discrimination.

The inaugural show ignited excitement in Dimapur on November 17, marking the beginning of an extensive tour covering six districts: Dimapur, Kohima, Kiphire, Peren, Tuensang, and Noklak. BZ Entertainment’s ambitious plan involves delivering 10 impactful Street Plays in each district, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging outreach.

The carefully crafted Street Play/Drama weaves together essential facts about HIV, emphasizing its routes of transmission and the crucial role of testing. Following each powerful performance, the NSACS Mobile Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (MICTC) team will provide free blood tests for HIV and counselling services, delivering vital information and support to the audience.

BZ Entertainment believes in the transformative power of art and culture to drive societal change, and this collaboration stands as a beacon of their commitment to using creative expression as a catalyst for positive transformation.
