Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church organises seminar on skills & jobs

Mission department of Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church (CBC) organised a seminar on skills and jobs on May 21 which was attended by youth group, mission group, elders and young aspirants.
In a press release, CBC informed that resource person, CBC mission director, C. Bendangonen Jamir while speaking on the topic, “Christian Entrepreneurship” presented the contextual reality of the present Nagaland.
He discussed in detail the origin, the meaning and the destiny of Christian entrepreneurship and also brought out the difference between worldly entrepreneurship whose desire of work was solely for profit making and Christian entrepreneurship where goal was to serve others.
Jamir emphatically said that if Nagaland desires to grow and prosper like the rest of the world then every member should become Christian entrepreneurs.
Resource person, senior manager Technology Service, International, AT&T India, Peter Baker introduced the latest version of the internet- the internet of value which was firmly grounded on the framework of blockchain technology, a distributed ledger, highly immutable and secure. Baker said one of the key aspects of transacting based on this technology was the use of smart contracts.
Speaking on the topic, “skills and jobs” government ITI Mokokchung, principal, Er. T. Imlisunep Ao presented a detail survey report on the economy of the skills and jobs of the Mokokchung district.
Basing on the survey report, he highlighted the prospects and underlining challenge for securing jobs and smart jobs under government as well as in private sectors.

Speaking on “skills in livelihood”, divisional forest officer, Mokokchung, Dr. Sentitula presented a detail elaboration on the cost benefit analysis of rearing livestock and the job opportunities and the market feasibility under the livestock sector.
Earlier, welcome addressed was delivered by CBC Pastor Rev. Lima, village council secretary, Tsukjemtangit exhorted the gathering, dedicatory prayer was led by director healing centre, T Among and the inaugural programme was chaired by associate pastor youth, Sanenlong. The moderators for the sessions were music director, Shilu, associate pastor, Luin, associate pastor Christian education Ministry, Asenla; the sessions ended with Bethel mission secretary, Imtimongba and prayer by church secretary, Kilem.
