Cee Tee university to host Education Summit in Nagaland

In an initiative to transform modern education system in Nagaland, Cee Tee (CT) University Punjab, will be hosting the first ever Nagaland Education Summit cum Excellence Award, at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur on December 4.
Pro-Chancellor, CT University, Dr. Manbir Singh in a press conference stated that the event was an initiative to bring Nagaland and Punjab under one umbrella for transforming modern education system.
Dr. Singh added that the event would witness Educational Summit for students and teachers, and Excellence Award Ceremony for selected teachers in Nagaland and launching of free one year IAS course programme for the students in Nagaland.
It was informed that 80 teachers from 45 schools, both private and government, from Dimapur and Kohima were nominated after clearing a certain criteria required for the award.
Speaking on the topic he mentioned that students can access to virtual training of IAS book and stated that a student spend around 2-3 lakhs to avail such kind of training course, but under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, it is said that the programme covers the students fee for free. He further mentioned that CT celebrated its silver jubilee this year and on the account it is providing scholarship of 38 crores all over India and that the students from Nagaland can apply for the scholarship according to their merit score.
Dy Director, CT University, M. Sanjay Sharma, mentioned that more than 2000 students from Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur and West Bengal are undergoing the free IAS course and saying that CT are venturing the IAS course throughout the country step by step.
