Conservator of Forest Complex (CFC)-cum-Divisional Forest Management Unit (DFMU) Mokokchung was declared “Plastic Free Office Zone”, during the launch of the campaign mission life (Lifestyle for environment) at an outreach awareness-cum-meeting on May 18 at Conservator of Forest Complex (CFC), Mokokchung.
A press release issued by Divisional Forest Office (DFO) Mokokchung informed that meeting was chaired by Conservator of Forest (Northern Territorial Circle), Rongsenlemla, IFS.
The DFO Mokokchung also elaborated detail road map under the initiative of the Mission Life reaching out to all the villages and organizations under their campaign.
The campaign was to encourage adoption of sustainable lifestyle to tackle the challenges of environmental degradation and climate change, and for mass mobilization and sensitization to people about the impact of behavioral change on the environment.
