Christ the King Feast celebrated

Along with the rest of the world, St Francis Xavier Catholic church, Kidima, under Kohima Diocese celebrated Christ the King feast with Reverend Father Raymond D’Souza SJ, pioneer of Jesuits mission in North East India, as main celebrant in the church premises on November 20.
A press release by member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church Kidima, P Tepekrovi Kiso, stated that Fr Raymond D’Souza SJ in his message said Christ the King was different from other kingdom that was to love, care and service to one another. He stated that Jesus Christ kingdom was not to rule, but, to serve the people, not to keep army for protection, but, for proclamation of good news to the world.
Christ kingdom was not rebellion, but, forgive people’s sin in compassion for those who beg for mercy and ensure for the eternal life, he added.
The release added that confession to Almighty God, supplication of Lord’s mercy and special prayer was offered for departed soul.
