Chümoukedima District Football Association conducted selection trial for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022 at Medziphema local ground on August 6, 2022.
Altogether, 89 aspiring footballers participated in the trial out of which 20 players have been shortlisted to make up the final team to represent the district. The panel of selectors included: UEFA licensed football coach, Viphrezolie, CDFRA president, Thepfükedo Kuotsu, CDFA general secretary-ShiyetoWotsa, vice president-Yongsen and member-James Kithan.
List of the selected players would be announced on August 8 while coaching will commence from August 9 onwards.
CDFA team will be led by Akihito Zhimomi as manager, Thangboi Thomsong as coach and Rovy Pheta as team physio.
