Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy CM Y Patton have extended Chavang Kut greetings to the Kuki, Chin and Mizo communities.
“I share their joy in celebrating the thanksgiving festival of post-harvest. May it foster peace and strengthen long-standing tradition of peaceful co-existence,” Rio said in a post on X.
Patton: Deputy CM Y. Patton in his greetings to the Kuki community, said that the festival is celebrated in honor of the deities for blessing the harvest. It is also a time to reconcile and give thanks, he added.
