CMO Mokokchung encouragesMOs to motivate & sensitise HWs

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Mokokchung, Dr. Limatula Aier while highlighting the responsibilities of the Medical Officers (MOs) encouraged them to motivate and sensitise Health Workers (HWs) in their respective health units so as to better service the public.
A press release by CMO Mokokchung office informed that Dr. Aier also emphasized on proper maintenance of registers and records and to continue monitoring for the better functioning of health centres.
CMO Mokokchung was addressing the 2nd quarterly district review meeting Friday at the Conference Hall of CMO Mokokchung office. The meeting was held to discuss the preparation of Common Review Mission (CRM) team visit to the district.
Dr. Aier, who also chaired the meeting, welcomed the members and called upon them to be more active and sincere in discharging their duties.
At the meeting, DPO(UIP/RCH), Dr. Ayangla Saku deliberated on the performance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strengthening of Health Management Information System (HMIS).
While discussing on Tuberculosis (TB) cases in the district, District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO) Dr.Toshila Jamir urged the MOs for TB sputum examination, if any patients was found symptomatic. The meeting was attended by programme officers, MOs, HWs and representatives from Nagaland Health Project (NHP), District Program Management Unit (DPMU) and Information Education and Communication (IEC).
