Committed to reconcile without any condition: NSCN/GPRN (K)

Isak Sumi-led NSCN/GPRN (K), while welcoming the concern and appeal by Nagaland Tribes Council and Nagaland GB Federation, assured them and the Nagas at large, its commitment to reconcile without any condition with the “dissident president” (Khango Konyak).
In a statement through its MIP, NSCN/GPRN said: “We are hoping that the esteemed organisations and Nagas at large are following our press communiqués and appeals to our dissident President swallowing our pride offering olive branch for reconciliation and our ato kilonser as a true patriotic Naga is even ready to forgive and forget an attempt on his life by some rogue army personnel for the sake of the cause and Naga political solution.” MIP reaffirmed that “doors are wide open to reconcile and to stand strong together as before and to forgive and forget everything”. While stating that “to err is human”, MIP said as comrades, they had been through thick and thin and cannot remain stubborn with pride and let our dreams and the sacrifices of generations go in vain at such a crucial juncture.
Further, urging all Nagas to call “a spade a spade”, NSCN/GPRN said “while we are hell bent and exploring all options to reconcile, we should not give way to the evil designs of the adversaries and third party to hijack our struggle for their personal agenda and spread chaos.” NSCN/GPRN said even as they have been working towards reconciliation, they were closely monitoring the situation, and if need be “we are ready to sacrifice everything and take measures to nip the devil from the bud.”
